In response to requests from participants, the Illinois Century Network
now offers cost effective filtering services.
Filtering is the process of restricting users from accessing inappropriate
Internet sites while allowing access to desired sites. While filtering
is not required for participation in the ICN, constituents often request
it to more easily comply with federal e-rate requirements or meet other
needs.
